~ What is therapy? ~

I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fuller, happier and more enriching life. Therapy is an excellent way to achieve the life you want to live and be the best you.

Therapy provides an opportunity for you to look at what you are doing, thinking and feeling on a daily basis and what is or is not working well in your life. This information will forge a path that will empower you to feel more confident in both personal and work relationships.

When we come into the world we are virtually blank slates. Every experience in our life becomes imprinted data in our minds. These experiences create a blueprint for our moral/ethical behaviors, teach us how to deal with challenges in life, how to love others, how to love ourselves, how to problem solve, and how to express feelings. It is what we have learned and are familiar with doing. We do our best to feel worthwhile, happy and survive. Sometimes these learned coping mechanisms and behaviors begin to interfere in our lives. What once worked, no longer works. This is where therapy comes into play.
